Obverse description Central field features the Polish imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the right, rendered in the heraldic style of the Polish People's Republic. The denomination '200 ZŁ' appears in bold numerals in the lower portion of the field, flanked by the currency abbreviation 'ZŁ' on either side. The date '19 80' is divided across the lower field, one half on each side of the eagle's body. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery. The mint mark 'MW' (Mennica Warszawska) is incorporated into the design below the eagle.
