Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed at center, with wings spread, crowned head facing right, and holding a shield on its breast, struck in high relief against a polished field. The denomination 200 ZŁ appears in large numerals in the lower portion of the field, flanked by the abbreviation ZŁ on either side. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the upper periphery, with the date 19 81 divided by the eagle's wings, and the mint mark MW visible at lower left.
