Obverse description The Polish crowned eagle — the national emblem of the Republic of Poland — is depicted in high relief at the upper center of the field, below the arcing legend. Flanking the eagle, the inscription 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' curves along the upper periphery, with the mint mark 'mw' and the date '2005' positioned beneath the eagle. In the lower field, a detailed scene depicts a horse-drawn open carriage (droshky) in motion, with a coachman and a seated passenger, rendered in fine relief and evoking a literary, romantic atmosphere. The denomination '200 ZŁ' appears in large characters along the lower rim.
