| Obverse description | The national emblem of the People's Republic of China is depicted centrally on the obverse, featuring Tiananmen Gate surmounted by five stars, encircled by sheaves of grain and a cogwheel at the base. The full Chinese inscription 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs around the upper periphery in Chinese characters within the scalloped border.
