| Obverse description | A finely detailed frontal view of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests at the Temple of Heaven (天坛, Tiāntán) in Beijing occupies the central field, depicted with its characteristic triple-eaved circular roof and surrounding marble terrace with balustrades and staircases. The Chinese characters 天坛 (Temple of Heaven) appear to the left of the structure, and the characters 北京 (Beijing) are inscribed at the bottom of the field alongside the date 1982. The design is framed by a reeded inner border. |
