Reverse description Colorfully enameled depiction of a Peking Opera performer in full traditional costume, portrayed in a dynamic stage pose with elaborate headdress adorned with long pheasant-tail feathers extending dramatically to the right. The figure wears richly decorated robes in vibrant polychrome enamel, characteristic of the Dan (female) role type. The denomination 200元 is inscribed in bold characters in the upper left field. A vertical cartouche in the lower right field bears additional Chinese inscription identifying the series as Peking Opera gold commemorative coinage.
