| Reverse description | A large-format, highly naturalistic depiction of a giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) occupying the central and right portion of the field, shown in three-quarter view feeding on bamboo shoots held in its forepaws, with finely engraved fur texture rendered in exceptional detail. Stylised bamboo stalks with leaves occupy the left and lower field, while a branch of bamboo leaves overhangs the composition from above.
