Reverse description Central figural scene depicting Kuafu (夸父), the giant of Chinese mythology, shown in dynamic striding posture as he pursues the sun, consistent with the legend 夸父追日 (Kuafu Chases the Sun). The heroic figure is portrayed bare-chested with long flowing hair, wearing a grass skirt and carrying a staff, with a large red solar disc visible behind him. Stylized clouds rendered in colorized enamel occupy the lower field, enhancing the mythological atmosphere. The denomination 200元 is inscribed in Chinese characters at the upper portion of the coin. The legend 夸父追日 appears vertically along the right side of the field in Chinese script.
