| Obverse description | Central vignette at left shows a traditional Chinese city gate tower rendered in intaglio-style engraving against a yellow-orange guilloche underprint. The bank name in Chinese characters (熱河省銀行) runs along the upper right, with the denomination 貳百圓 (Two Hundred Yuan) in a decorative cartouche at centre right. Marginal inscriptions include 流通券 (circulation note) at left and 地方 at right, with a serial number printed in red at upper right and the series prefix NO. FA at upper left. |
