Reverse description The reverse presents the official crest of FC Zheńis (Жеңіс), a Kazakhstani football club, centrally positioned in the field. The shield-shaped badge, rendered in relief, features vertical stripes and a rampant heraldic lion at its center, with the club name JEŃIS inscribed across the upper portion of the shield. A five-pointed star appears above the crest in the upper field. The bilingual circular legend reads ҚАЗАҚСТАННЫҢ ФУТБОЛ КЛУБТАРЫ in Cyrillic along the lower arc and FOOTBALL CLUBS OF KAZAKHSTAN in Latin along the upper arc, with the year 2024 flanked by bullet points interrupting the legend at the top.

Additional information

Kazakhstan has issued collector coins honoring domestic football clubs before, but the Zhenis series reflects a broader push by the National Bank to commemorate Astana-based institutions following the capital's 2022 rebranding from Nur-Sultan. FC Zhenis itself was effectively reconstituted as the city's flagship club in that same civic reorientation, making this coin less a celebration of footballing history than a document of post-Soviet urban identity politics rendered in nickel silver.
