Obverse description Full-length figure of a medieval vintner standing facing, dressed in period costume with knee-length coat and boots, holding a large bunch of grapes in his left hand and his right hand placed at his side. The circular legend 'GRINZING GULDEN' arcs around the upper field, flanked by small five-pointed stars.
