| Obverse description | At centre of the mirror-polished field, the Russian state emblem — a double-headed eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief — occupies the central device within a beaded inner circle. The Cyrillic legend ДВЕСТИ РУБЛЕЙ (Two Hundred Roubles) arcs along the upper periphery, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia) is inscribed along the lower arc. Below the eagle, the date 2004 г. appears prominently, flanked by the fineness mark Аu 999 to the lower left and the weight indication 31,1 to the lower right, both separated by raised dots. The Moscow Mint privy mark (ММД) appears within the beaded border to the lower right of the field. |
