Obverse description Intaglio portrait vignette of painter Pedro Figari, shown in three-quarter profile facing left with round spectacles and beard, occupies the right half of the note against a fine guilloche underprint in olive and green tones. The Uruguayan coat of arms is positioned to the left of center, flanked by a vertical security strip along the left margin; facsimile signatures of the Presidente, Gerente General, and Secretario General appear below the arms. Denomination numerals "$200" are printed in the upper corners and lower left, with the face value in words "DOSCIENTOS" rendered in large intaglio lettering across the lower center.
