| Obverse description | The obverse is executed in intaglio in black ink on white paper. At upper centre, the bank title reads EL BANCO PROVINCIAL DE SANTA FÉ in bold lettering, with the place and date inscription ROSARIO, ENERO 1º DE 1882 below. The left portion carries a large allegorical vignette of a seated female figure representing Agriculture, accompanied by a barrel and sheaves of wheat, while a smaller oval vignette at upper centre contains a winged cherub. The denomination 200 appears in large numerals at upper right and lower left, with the text PAGARÁ A LA VISTA DOSCIENTOS PESOS MONEDA NACIONAL in ornate script across the centre, flanked by fine guilloche work and a geometric rosette at lower right. |
