| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) occupies the central field, depicting two crossed rifles and a Polisario flag beneath a crescent and star, all enclosed within a wreath of olive branches. A scroll at the base of the arms bears the Arabic motto meaning 'Freedom, Democracy, Unity'. The issuer legend REPUBLICA SAHARAUI arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by small stars, while the denomination 200 PESETAS SAHARAUIS curves along the lower rim. The date 1996 appears in the lower central field beneath the coat of arms. |
