The signature placement variation on the 2010 dated notes is one of the more catalogued production anomalies in this series. Two distinct states exist: one with signatures printed at a greater distance from the denomination prefix — covering prefix range AA/98 through AG/88 — and a second, error state where the signatures appear closer to the denomination, documented at prefix AG/66. The AG/66 error overlaps the prefix range of the standard distant-signature printing, which complicates attribution when prefix alone is used to differentiate the two.
