| Obverse description | Black letterpress print with red overstamp; the upper register presents a frontal full-length vignette of Daikokuten seated upon two rice bales, holding an Uchide-no-kozuchi mallet in his right hand and a large bag in his left, encircled by Takarazukushi auspicious objects arranged clockwise from lower left: Kakuremino, Hōyaku, Tsutsumori, Hōju, Kakuregasa, Uchide-no-kozuchi, Fundō, and Chōji. The central register contains several text cartouches with vertical inscriptions, while the lower register shows a turtle facing right and upward, carrying two Hōju Cintāmaṇi jewels on a wave-pattern ground; a diagonal overstamp in Chinese seal script crosses the central field in red. |
