| Obverse description | The State of Israel coat of arms — a menorah flanked by two olive branches above the Hebrew legend ISRAEL (ישראל) — is displayed prominently in the upper central field within a shield. The denomination 200 לירות (200 Lirot) appears at the top of the field in Hebrew and Arabic numerals. A bold Hebrew inscription in the lower field reads כה שנים למדינת ישראל (25 Years to the State of Israel), accompanied by the Hebrew year תשל״ג and the Gregorian year 1973. The peripheral legend ISRAEL'S 25TH ANNIVERSARY curves along the rim in Latin characters.
