| Reverse description | Central device features the circular seal of the Lega Navale Italiana (Italian Naval League), bearing the LNI monogram above a fouled anchor, which divides the denomination 200 LIRE on either side. Above the seal, a sailing vessel under sail is depicted in right profile, partially overlapping the upper arc of the seal; the mint mark R appears above the prow. The centennial dates 1897 and 1997 flank the vessel at left and right respectively. The engraver's signature E.L. FRAPICCINI arcs along the upper right rim, with the legend LEGA NAVALE ITALIANA completing the reverse inscription. |
