| Obverse description | The obverse features the national emblem of the Central American Federation centered within an inner circle, depicting a volcanic mountain range rising from the sea enclosed within an equilateral triangle, all set against a mirror-like proof field. Surrounding the central device, the circular legend reads PROVINCIAS UNIDAS DEL CENTRO DE AMERICA. The outer legend along the upper periphery reads REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS C.A., with the date 1992 prominently displayed in the lower field below the central device.
