Fantasy notes occupy an odd corner of the hobby — neither forgeries nor official issues, but deliberate creative exercises that exist entirely outside any legal tender framework. This one was produced in 2024 by a fictional Romanian institution, the "Banca Fantezista a Romaniei," a name that makes no pretense of official standing. The designer, Dani Crisan, works within a small but active Romanian community producing these pieces as collectibles rather than circulating substitutes.
