Obverse description	At centre-left, an intaglio portrait vignette of Ștefan cel Mare faces right, accompanied above by the inscription ȘTEFAN CEL MARE and flanked by a multicoloured national ornamental underprint with three vertical decorative elements and a central guilloche rosette. The Coat of Arms of the Republic of Moldova appears at upper left, with the issuing authority legends REPUBLICA MOLDOVA and BANCA NAȚIONALĂ A MOLDOVEI, the NBM logo, the denomination in numerals and words, and the Governor's facsimile signature of D. Drăgușanu.
