Obverse description Central design features the distinctive five-pointed crown of Saint Birgitta surmounted by a cross, rendered in high relief. The denomination 200 KRONOR and country name SVERIGE appear below the crown in the lower field. To the left of the crown, the mint mark letter E (for Myntverket, Eskilstuna) is positioned, while to the right appears the letter H, the initial of Riksbank Governor Lars Heikensten. The surrounding legend, inscribed in Latin and drawn from a medieval hymn of praise, reads GAUDE BIRGITTA FILIA CANTICUM TIBI DEBETUR GLORIE, translating as 'Rejoice, O daughter Birgitta, for you are worthy of glorious songs of praise.'
