| Reverse description | The reverse displays a faithful reproduction of the elaborately decorated title page of the first volume of the Kralice Bible (1579), set within a rectangular frame at the centre of the field. The title page is richly ornamented with Renaissance decorative borders featuring biblical scenes and figurative medallions at the corners and sides. The central cartouche bears the title text of the Bible in ornate Gothic lettering. The curved legend PRVNÍ VYDÁNÍ KRALICKÉ BIBLE (First Edition of the Kralice Bible) is inscribed along the upper periphery, and the dates 1579–2004 appear within the design. |
