Reverse description The official emblem of the XIII Winter Olympic Games at Lake Placid, consisting of a stylized 'L' shape formed by parallel chevron lines, is prominently displayed in the centre of the field, accompanied to the upper right by a detailed snowflake motif. The five interlocked Olympic rings appear above the central emblem, and the word 'PRÓBAVERET' (trial strike/pattern) is inscribed horizontally across the upper field beneath the rings. The circular legend 'XIII. TÉLI OLIMPIAI JÁTÉKOK 1980' (XIII Winter Olympic Games 1980) runs along the upper rim, while 'LAKE PLACID N.Y.' is inscribed along the lower rim, flanked by small asterisk ornaments. The engraver's initials 'Kz' appear in the lower right field.
