Obverse description The obverse features the denomination '200 Forint' prominently rendered in bold numerals and stylized script across the central field, executed in a high-relief design against a mirrored proof-like background. The circular legend 'MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG' (Republic of Hungary) arcs around the upper periphery, while the date '2001', mint mark 'BP.' and the initials 'iSZ' appear in the lower field. The design is the work of engraver István Holló, and the interplay of raised lettering against the polished field gives the obverse a distinctly decorative character consistent with Hungarian commemorative coinage of the period.
