Reverse description The reverse presents a triptych-style composition celebrating the Baroque and Rococo periods in Spanish art and architecture, divided across contrasting frosted and mirror-polished geometric fields. At the upper portion, a detailed architectural rendering of the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso is depicted in high relief, its ornate Baroque façade rendered with careful precision. In the lower left, a portrait bust of the Infanta Margarita Teresa — as immortalized in Velázquez's celebrated painting 'Las Meninas' — faces the viewer, her elaborate period coiffure and dress clearly rendered. To the lower right, a distinguished male portrait, evoking the artistic heritage of the era, completes the figural grouping. The denomination '200 EURO' is inscribed in large characters at the centre-bottom of the field, accompanied by the crowned 'M' mintmark of the Royal Mint of Madrid.
