The original piece presents on its obverse the crowned shield of the monarch with the barracks of Castile and Leon, Granada, Aragon, Sicily, Austria, old and modern Burgundy, Brabant, Flanders and Tyrol. To each of the sides of the shield, the mark of the Real Casa de la Moneda of Madrid and the face value of 200 EURO. It surrounds all the legend PHILIPPUS II DEI GRATIA.

Reverse description
On the reverse side, the Cross of Jerusalem is composed of four leaves, inscribed in a border of four semicircles and surrounded by the legend HISPANIARUM.REX. The current currency also includes the year, 2018.
