Reverse description
Map of South Africa, Natal, `Christmas` in Portuguese because Vasco da Gama landed there 25 December 1497. A ` pradao ` stone column with a cross, on the coast was built in Mossel Bay. A line along the coast marks the path and a boat sailed to the northeast. Legend around.
