Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed wilderness scene evoking Canada's historic fur trade. In the foreground, a large birchbark canoe laden with fur bales and trade goods is paddled across open water by two figures in period dress, one at each end. Behind the canoe on the riverbank stands a conical tipi flanked by towering conifers, with additional trees and a rocky escarpment filling the background; two birds in flight are visible above the tipi. The engraver's initials 'SO' appear to the lower right of the central design. The legend 'CANADA' arcs along the upper border, while '200 DOLLARS • 2021' is inscribed along the lower border.
