Reverse description The reverse features a broad annular border richly engraved with an array of iconic Australian flora and fauna, including a wedge-tailed eagle in full flight at upper right, a kookaburra perched on a branch at right, a sulphur-crested cockatoo at left, a superb fairy-wren, a quokka, butterflies, native wildflowers, and foliage. At centre, a deeply recessed circular cavity set against a polished black field contains an inlaid map of Australia fashioned from blue lepidolite, a naturally occurring lithium-bearing mineral, lending vivid colour and texture to the continent's silhouette. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears at left on the border, with the designer's initials AH at lower right. The inscriptions 2025 2oz 9999 GOLD are engraved in the lower right sector of the border.
