| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in shades of red, pink, and orange on a multicolour guilloche underprint, with a large vignette of the Banco Central building in São Tomé occupying the centre, overlaid by a bold numeral "200" at lower right and left. The national arms appear in the upper left area alongside a vignette of a Charaxes defulvata butterfly, while a colour-shifting holographic security patch in the form of repeated numerals and butterfly motifs is positioned to the right of centre. Two facsimile signatures — those of the Minister of Finance, Commerce and Blue Economy and the Governor of the Banco Central — appear beneath the security patch, with the issuing authority legend across the lower centre. |
