Obverse description Central vignette presents a portrait of Serbian painter Nadežda Petrović (1873–1915) accompanied by a sculptural representation of the artist and a silhouette of the Gračanica Monastery as an underprint motif. A painter's brush appears as an additional design element referencing her artistic career. Inscriptions in both Cyrillic and Latin script identify the subject and issuing authority across the face of the note.
