| Obverse description | Printed in brown and pink tones with intaglio workmanship, the obverse carries a three-quarter-view portrait of Simón Bolívar at right, set against a fine guilloche underprint. The denomination DOSCIENTOS BOLIVIANOS is rendered in large intaglio script at centre-left, while BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA runs across the top margin and the numeral 200 appears at upper left and lower centre.
