| Obverse description | The national arms of Panama displayed prominently in the center field, featuring a quartered shield with a sword and rifle in the upper quarters and a shovel and pickaxe in the lower quarters, surmounted by an eagle with spread wings. Nine five-pointed stars are arranged in an arc above the arms, referencing the nine provinces of Panama. The legend REPUBLICA DE PANAMA curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination 200 BALBOAS appears in the lower exergue. The mintmark FM and the motto PRO MUNDI BENEFICIO are incorporated into the design. |
