| Reverse description | The crowned coat of arms of the city of Szczecin occupies the central field, depicting a stylized eagle's head within a heraldic shield surmounted by a royal crown, rendered in fine detail. The dates 1243 and 1993 flank the shield to the left and right respectively, commemorating the 750th anniversary of the granting of municipal rights to the city. The circular legend 750 ROCZNICA NADANIA PRAW MIEJSKICH SZCZECINOWI runs along the upper and lower periphery. The word PRÓBA (meaning 'trial' or 'pattern') is incuse above the shield, identifying this as a trial strike. The composition is symmetrical and heraldically precise, consistent with Polish commemorative pattern coinage of the early 1990s. |
