| Obverse description | Plain typeset note with a decorative border frame enclosing the denomination in large Gothic blackletter script reading "Zweihunderttausend Mark" across the centre, above which the issuing authority and value in numerals appear in serif type. A brief legal redemption clause in small Roman type occupies the middle register, followed by the place and date of issue and the magistrate's manuscript signature. The serial number appears at lower left, with the notation "Nur mit Stadtsiegel gültig" (valid only with city seal) below, and the printer's imprint at the foot. |
