Obverse description The obverse of this Notgeld Gutschein is printed on a tan guilloche underprint with a decorative scalloped border. A bold dark blue overprint reads '200 Millionen M' across the top, with the large Gothic blackletter denomination 'Tausend Mark' of the original 1 000 Mark note still visible in the centre. The issuer's name 'Die Badische Anilin- & Soda-Fabrik, Ludwigshafen a/Rhein' appears in Gothic script above the central vignette, flanked by a municipal coat of arms at lower left, two handwritten signatures, and a red serial number repeated twice; a lower panel carries the overprint validity clause dated 15. Oktober 1922 with validity extended to 30. November 1923.

Reverse description The reverse carries a tan guilloche underprint with a plain ruled border. The heading 'Zweihundert Millionen Mark' is printed in large dark blue Gothic lettering across the top. The central field contains a text block in Gothic script listing the banks authorised to redeem the voucher in Mannheim and Ludwigshafen am Rhein, followed at the bottom by a framed denomination panel reading '200 Millionen Mark'. At right, a vertical panel reproduces a fragment of the original 1 000 Mark note, including a geometric lattice vignette inscribed '1000 MARK' and a circular seal bearing the Ludwigshafen civic arms. The printer's imprint 'GEBR. PARCUS MÜNCHEN' appears at the foot of the note.
