| Obverse description | The obverse features the crowned Polish eagle of the Polish People's Republic, rendered in high relief at the center of the field, with wings spread and head turned to the right. The date 1976 is split to either side of the eagle's body, flanking the lower portion of the design. The denomination '20 ZŁ' appears in large numerals in the lower field.
