| Obverse description | Central field features the Polish state eagle, displayed with wings spread and head turned to dexter, rendered in a stylised socialist heraldic style without crown. Surrounding the eagle, the dates 1944 and 1974 are arranged in segmented numeral form around the inner field, interspersed with decorative square and cross motifs alluding to the XXX anniversary. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the upper periphery.
