Obverse description At center, the Polish state eagle displayed, crowned, with wings spread and talons extended, rendered within a raised inner circle. The date 1999 appears split to either side of the eagle's lower body, flanked by the mint mark 'mw' below. The peripheral legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs around the upper portion of the coin, separated from the inner circle by an ornamental border of stylized Gothic cusps and small stars. The denomination ZŁ 20 ZŁ is inscribed prominently at the base of the coin in large numerals, completing the design in a bold, uncluttered lower field.

Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed architectural view of the Potocki Palace in Radzyń Podlaski, depicted in a fine line-engraving style with the ornate Baroque gate tower dominating the center, flanked by the symmetrical wings of the palatial complex. In the lower foreground, a large decorative sculptural cartouche — reproducing the famous Rococo ornamental fountain sculpture from the palace grounds — is flanked by two allegorical putti, the whole composition rendered with exceptional relief detail. The curved legend PAŁAC POTOCKICH arcs along the upper field, while the inscription RADZYŃ PODLASKI is engraved in straight letters along the lower exergue. The engraver's mark 'R' appears discreetly within the sculptural group in the lower field.
