Reverse description The reverse presents a richly detailed scene of kolędnicy (Polish carol singers and Epiphany revellers) in traditional folk costumes processing through a winter landscape rendered in bold relief on the oxidized silver field. A group of figures crowds the left and centre, one carrying a decorative szopka (nativity box) and another raising a large star on a pole, at the centre of which is set a faceted dark zirconium gemstone inlay representing the Star of Bethlehem. Bare winter trees frame the right side of the composition, while stars and a distant village silhouette populate the upper field. The inscription 'KOLĘDNICY' is engraved in raised decorative lettering along the lower rim.
