| Obverse description | Printed in blue on a light ground, the obverse carries a vignette of the Temple of Heaven at right, rendered in fine line engraving with surrounding landscape. The denomination 貳拾圓 (Twenty Yuan) appears in large Chinese characters at centre-left within a decorative floral guilloche frame, with the bank name 華中銀行 inscribed at top centre. Corner rosettes repeat the value 貳拾 (Twenty), and a serial number prefix is printed in blue at upper left. |
