| Reverse description | The reverse is printed entirely in olive-green and consists of an elaborate symmetrical guilloche composition centred on a large ornate rosette bearing the numeral '20', flanked by two smaller matching rosettes each also bearing '20'. Intricate lathe-work borders and geometric fretwork fill the surrounding field. The bank title inscription runs along the upper border and the year '1949' appears at the foot of the design. |
