Obverse description Central depiction of the Taedong Gate (Taedongmun) in Pyongyang, rendered in fine detail with its characteristic multi-tiered pavilion roof and stone gateway arch, set against a stylized landscape. The date '2010' appears in the lower field beneath the gate, flanked by two five-pointed stars. The Korean legend '조선민주주의인민공화국 20원' runs along the upper and right periphery in a circular arrangement. The Dragon Years of the cycle are inscribed in two rows across the lower field: '1952 1964 1976' and '1988 2000 2012', with a small dragon motif appearing between the lower rows. The engraver's mark 'SPARK' is visible in the lower right field.
