Obverse description Central aluminium field depicting a detailed relief of the Pyongyang Arch of Triumph or a traditional Korean multi-tiered pavilion (Koryo-style gate tower), rendered with fine architectural detail including layered tiled roofs, pillared galleries, and decorative stonework at the base, set against a mirror-polished background. The surrounding brass ring carries the Korean-script legend reading 조선민주주의인민공화국중앙은행 (Central Bank of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea) along the upper arc.
