| Obverse description | Central field features two intertwined dragons rendered in high relief, their sinuous bodies coiling dynamically around one another amid stylised clouds and floral elements, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend, reading in Sino-Korean characters, records the name of the kingdom and the Joseon founding-year date (개국 495년, corresponding to 1886), with circular ornamental stops separating the inscription segments. The denomination '20 WARN' appears in Latin characters along the lower arc of the border, also within the beaded circle. The entire design is contained within an outer beaded rim, consistent with the milled pattern coinage prepared for the Joseon court. |
