Obverse description Central field features the Mongolian state emblem (Soyombo symbol) depicted within a rectangular cartouche flanked by two vertical pillars; the Soyombo incorporates a flame, sun, crescent, and yin-yang element. Traditional Mongolian script legends appear to the left and right of the central device. The date in traditional Mongolian numerals is inscribed in the lower field below the cartouche. The coin rim is decorated with a continuous series of small triangular denticles.

Reverse description The large numeral '20' dominates the central field in bold relief, set within a trefoil-shaped recessed cartouche. The denomination 'ТӨГРӨГ' is inscribed along the lower arc of the cartouche in Cyrillic lettering. The overall design is clean and geometric, with a plain field surrounding the central device.
