| Obverse description | Bare head of a youthful male figure facing right, rendered in a Hellenistic style with thick, tightly curled hair covering the crown; the surface is heavily worn but the broad facial features and rounded cranium remain discernible. The legend, where present on better-preserved specimens, reads HISPANORVM in the field. The portrait is modelled in low relief characteristic of Sicilian civic bronze coinage of the late Hellenistic period. |
