Obverse description	The banknote has a picture of the historical monument Kantjiu Temple, Dinajpur on the left side of the obverse, and the `Guarantee clause` and the denomination (twenty taka) are printed in the middle of the note. The image of the national flower `Shapla` in bloom with leaves and buds is printed in the middle of the note in the background. In addition, the denomination `20` is printed on the top left of the note, `20` on the right corner, and `20` on the bottom right corner.
Reverse description	On the back of the note, a picture of Paharpur Buddhist Monastery, Naogaon, is printed to the right of the watermark area. The denomination `20` is printed on the top left corner of the note, the `Monogram of Bangladesh Bank` is printed on the right corner, and the denomination `20` is printed on the bottom right corner. In addition, `20` is printed vertically on the right side of the note.
